Costs can add up quickly, however, especially if you have a large family. Thankfully there are plenty of ways to save on holiday shopping in the Oklahoma City area.

1. Holiday Pop-Up Shops in Midtown

From November 24 through December 23, various pop-up shops will open in Midtown at the corner of NW 10th Street and Hudson. The shops are open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Each weekend will bring a few new shops, and you can expect to see plenty: The Social Club, Siempre Viva and Coki Bay among others. You'll find decorations, home goods, delicious treats and more, all at affordable prices.

2. Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City
7624 W Reno Ave, Oklahoma City

The OKC Outlet shops carry all of your favorite brand names at discounted prices. Shops include American Eagle Outfitters, Banana Republic, Asics, Bath & Body Works and Bose. Most shops will have special sales around the holidays--especially if you visit on Black Friday! Make a day of it, and treat yourself to a pretzel at Auntie Anne's when you're finished.

3. Quail Springs Mall
2501 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City

Quail Springs Mall is a great place to shop for holiday deals. Not only do they offer all of your favorite clothing and home goods stores, but there's also a Hickory Farms store where you can find affordable sausage, cheese and other delicious consumable gifts for those hard-to-buy-for folks. Best Buy also offers great deals on electronics around the holidays, which is great news for the techies in your life.

4. Visit BlackFriday.com

Black Friday, which is November 24 this year, is always a great time to find holiday savings. To find the best deals near you, visit BlackFriday.com. They'll keep you up-to-date on ads from stores like Walmart, American Eagle, Target, Kohl's, Amazon and more. You can even sign up for a Deal Alert and receive emails whenever something you're looking for is marked down.

5. Sign Up For Groupon

If you're not already signed up for Groupon, do so before the holiday season. This awesome deal service offers coupons for stores, restaurants and experiences in your area. Generally, you pay a discounted rate for a Groupon, which you exchange for a certain service or items when you visit the business. You may find a deal you can use to buy a gift for a loved one — or you could even buy them a Groupon as a gift.
