The program provides nutritious meals and welcome companionship to seniors, enabling them to live with independence and dignity. MOW relies on help from volunteers with a dependable vehicle, proof of insurance and a valid driver's license. You can commit to a regular schedule or serve as a substitute driver.

Their Holiday Help Campaign is aimed at making the season bright for families and children in need. Programs include Adopt-A-Family, which allows parents and guardians to provide gifts for their kids, and Holiday Meals, which provides sustenance for up to 5,000 local families.

Last year, Armful of Love made the holidays happier for approximately 1,000 families by pairing them with donors who purchased gifts based on the family's wish list. The program itself is also in need of volunteers to assist with warehouse set-up, sponsor drop-offs and family pick-ups.

People Serving People is an emergency shelter with 99 hotel-style private units for homeless children and families. They also provide comprehensive Family Support Services to help temporary residents become self-sufficient. PSP needs volunteers to assist with housekeeping duties or to address and stuff envelopes for holiday mailings. All activities are conducted on two-hour shifts between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
