Another advantage is that, thanks to the magic of streaming, you can check out or catch up on shows at your convenience in the comfort of your Springs luxury apartment home.  Find a new favorite from these great shows coming your way this summer.

NETWORKS

1. So You Think You Can Dance

Even people with two left feet can enjoy this Emmy-winning, family-friendly show that spotlights up-and-coming dancers in a range of genres as varied as ballroom, hip-hop and tap. Once the judges select the finalists, it's up to viewers to cast votes for their favorites each week. SYTYCD airs Mondays at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. Central) on ABC.

2. Younger

Who hasn't wondered, even briefly, what it would be like to go back to an earlier age with the knowledge and wisdom of your older self? Younger, starring Tony-winning actress Sutton Foster, is an engaging look at what happens when a 40-year-old woman passes herself off as a 26-year-old. Season 5 is airing on TV Land on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (9 p.m. Central), but you can watch past episodes on the network's website.

3. Animal Kingdom

If you're a fan of crime dramas, they don't come any grittier than Animal Kingdom, based on the 2010 Australian film of the same name. Led by their mother, the diminutive but tough-as nails Smurf, the men of the Cody family have a thriving crime empire that is constantly threatened by jealousy and infighting. Season 3 is airing on TNT on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. (8 p.m. Central). Catch up with past episodes on Amazon Prime.

4. GLOW

Season 1 of GLOW, Netflix's hilarious but loving homage to the 80’s fad of female wrestling, played to universal acclaim. There's still time to watch the first 10 episodes before Season 2 drops on Friday, June 29.

5. Castle Rock

As fans of Stephen King know, Castle Rock is the name of a fictional town in Maine that's woven deeply into the mythology of his most popular works. Once again, Castle Rock takes center stage in this original show from Hulu that weaves together characters and themes from iconic King novels and short stories such as It, Salem's Lot, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption and Misery. Castle Rock premieres on Wednesday, July 25.

6. Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan

John Krasinski leaves the comedy of The Office far behind as he follows in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck to portray the show's eponymous hero. The Amazon Prime series follows Jack Ryan's journey from CIA analyst to super-agent battling an unprecedented attack against the United States and its allies. Season 1 drops Friday, August 31.
