What are the 4 Best Parks in Liberty Township and West Chester?

Best-Parks-Cincinnati.jpgWhat better way to get out and enjoy the summer than by visiting some nearby parks? There are some excellent options near Springs at Liberty Township and Springs at West Chester, so grab your friends or family and head out to enjoy one of these four spots:

Liberty Township

Wetlands Park

Enjoy 42 acres of beauty at Wetlands Park where you can walk, bike, or hike on a variety of trails. You can also kick back for a leisurely picnic and take in the beauty of the water lilies on the ponds, or bring your fishing rod for some peaceful time by the water.

Fort Liberty Playland  
6845 Van Gorden Rd

Fort Liberty Playland features a state-of-the-art playground that the little ones are sure to love, but this place isn't just for kids. Enjoy a picnic at either of the shelters, head out on the bike trails, or challenge someone to a game on their Bocce Ball court. There's also a large field perfect for throwing the frisbee or flying a kite!

West Chester

Get ready for an amazing day at this 435-acre park, complete with a 35-acre stocked lake. You can stroll along the trail around the pond, or bring your favorite furry friend to visit Wiggly Field Dog Park. The Ronald Reagan Lodge also offers a unique amphitheater and indoor facilities that are available to rent for your special functions, or you can just sit on the patio and enjoy the free Wi-Fi. Make sure you visit during the winter and enjoy the 65-foot sledding hill once it snows!

Keehner Park  
7211 and 7411 Barret Rd

Keehner Park offers hiking trails, tennis courts, a playground, and much more. Stroll along the trails to discover the creek, enjoy a picnic at one of their shelters, or rent out the 1800s-style lodge for special events. Be sure to watch for special events on-site such as the West Chester Summer Concert Series, which runs through early September.
