Regardless of why exactly spring is so gorgeous in the city, its warm breezes and rising temps are something to look forward to as you thaw out from the cold months. 1. Spring Flower Show: Hashtag No Filter

Running now through Mother's Day, May 13th, is the Spring Flower Show at the Garfield Park Conservatory. A dizzying array of colorful and fragrant blooms await you as you experience the beauty of nature in Chicago up close and personal. 

2. Lincoln Square Wine Stroll

This popular spring event takes place on April 26th from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM and features five different routes for you to choose from -- three in Lincoln Park and two in Ravenswood. More than 45 businesses in the Lincoln Park and Ravenswood areas are expected to welcome strollers as they sample red and white wines as well as hors-d'oeuvres. 

3. Randolph Street Market

The weekend of April 28th and 29th kicks off the 15th year for the Randolph Street Market. Due to the variability of the Chicago spring weather, the opening weekend is held inside with the rest of the dates slated to have outside vendors as well. Browse through more than 125 vendors selling vintage decor, art, global goods, fashions for women and men and much more.
