You don't have to travel far from home for family-friendly events, because there are plenty of fun things to do with kids in Rochester, MN.

Many of these activities are free, such as family art day, hiking at a nature preserve, indoor and outdoor children's movies and the many programs at Rochester Public Library.

Other activities include riding go-karts with your kids, touring a cave, fishing in a pond at the local nature center, going swimming at city parks, and watching your kids bounce until they tucker out at an unusual indoor play park.
