Young people in real authentic life.jpegWhether you are an avid fairgoer or you are a relative newcomer to this activity, you'll find that summertime fairs in Rochester offer a wide range of options to suit anyone's interests. To make things easy for you, we've scouted around for the best local Rochester MN fairs so you can have all the information you need in one, convenient place.

1. 2017 Thursdays on First and 3rd Summer Market and Music Festival

June 1st kicks off the Thursdays on First and 3rd Summer Market and Music Festival for the year. This weekly outdoor market brings together more than 100 craft, food and art vendors every Thursday from 11am until 8:30pm throughout the summer. A free, family-friendly event -- and one of the most anticipated craft fairs in Rochester -- also features musical entertainment. Taking place at Peace Plaza Downtown, it's a can't-miss summer tradition that brings the entire community together.

2. Fall Spectacular Vendor and Crafts Show

Head out to the Olmsted County fairgrounds this fall and enjoy the Fall Spectacular Vendor and Crafts Show. Slated to occur on September 23, 2017, this art and craft show features fine crafts, homegrown products, fine art, exhibits of collectibles and antiques and more.

3. People's Food Co-op -- Rochester Staff & Member Art Fair

Each year, the People's Food Co-op (PFC) invites its members and employees to gather to display and sell their art. This free event sets up in PFC parking lot and runs from 10am until 3pm. Due to its diverse member and employee base, the PFC Rochester Staff & Member Art Fair is one of the most unique art fairs in Rochester.

4. Gold Rush Olmsted County Antique Show & Market

Held from August 18th through August 20th at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds is the Gold Rush Olmsted County Antique Show & Market. At this event, you'll find a focus on displaying art and crafts devised of found materials. For example, you'll likely see garden art, folk art, Americana items and more fashioned from materials like antiques, art glass, primitives and other items that people would otherwise consider to be rusty junk.
