The choice to live at Springs at Fremaux Town Center may be clear, but how do you choose between a one or two-bedroom apartment? Here are some factors to consider.

Think About How You Would Use the Space

If you have children or a roommate, a second bedroom is a necessity. However, even if you don't have anyone who needs the second bedroom, the extra space could be very useful. If you need a home office or have frequent overnight guests, a second bedroom is practically a necessity.

The Budget Factor

A second bedroom is a nice amenity, but it does cost more to rent than a one-bedroom apartment. Additionally, air conditioning a bigger space is a bit more expensive. Think about your budget and decide if your level of need for the second bedroom justifies the extra expense.

Keep Furniture in Mind

Consider the amount of furniture that you already have and whether it will all fit into a one-bedroom apartment. If you have favorite pieces of furniture, such as a desk, spare sofa, or extra seating that you don't want to part with, a second bedroom can solve that problem. Use our 3D floor plans to visualize possible layouts.

Consider the likelihood that you'll want to shop for additional furniture in the future as well. A second bedroom can give you more space, but the extra rent is a waste if you just keep the room empty.

Consider Your Lifestyle

If you have frequent out-of-town visitors or family or friends who may need to stay over for a night or two, the second bedroom will allow you to be a gracious host and spare them the cost of a hotel. However, if you travel frequently for work or leisure and don't spend much time at home, one bedroom may be more than enough.

Look to The Future

You don't want to move into a new apartment home only to outgrow it a few months later. While you should be wary of paying for space you don't need, it's worth at least thinking about the future. If it’s possible that you and a significant other could move in together, you might need some extra space for the additional belongings. Similarly, you may need more space if you are considering a roommate, or if you are planning on having a child.
