Here are some tips to build and maintain a mutual rapport with your on-site management team.

1. Join in Community Activities

Participating in holiday parties, happy hours and other community events allows you to spend time with management in a more informal setting and gives you a chance to share ideas and suggestions.

2. Follow the Golden Rule

Which approach is more likely to get you to respond positively: a pleasant, professional demeanor or a brusque, dismissive manner? Don't let emotions derail you from being cordial when you interact with management and neighbors.

3. Pay Rent on a Timely Basis

This might sound like a no-brainer, but you would be surprised by the number of people who fail to follow this simple rule. On-time payment demonstrates your sense of responsibility and commitment to the community.

4. Communicate Promptly

It's a cliche because it's true: communication is an essential part of any relationship. Share information, both good and bad, with management. Keep in mind that you don't have to confine your conversations to problems. A simple "thank you" for things like prompt repairs go further than you might realize.

5. Be a Good Neighbor

Think of your lease as a pact that you, management and other residents share to create a mutually beneficial atmosphere of cooperation and camaraderie in the community.

6. Maintain Your Apartment

Keeping your apartment in good condition has more than just financial consequences. A clean, well-kept community is more appealing overall to current and prospective residents.

7. Don't Be a Stranger

You don't have to wait for a specific reason to visit the office! Stop by just to say hi and let management know how things are going.

At Springs, we take the idea of superior service so seriously that we've developed a "Pledge to Our Customers" detailing our commitment to you and all our residents. Learn more from this video or talk to our on-site management team for additional information.
